Nook is a spacious restaurant tucked into the lush outskirts of Kerobokan, where Bali’s rice paddies frame your meal with an open-air garden vibe that effortlessly blends relaxed and refined. Its setting along Jl. Umalas 1 offers a breezy atmosphere that suits both casual diners and small groups looking for an everyday spot to enjoy quality food without fuss.

The menu at Nook covers a broad spectrum, comfortably mixing Western comfort dishes like their Big Nook Burger and Chicken Schnitzel with thoughtfully prepared local favorites such as Nasi Campur Bali Ayam and Pork Belly Sambal Matah. This variety makes it a convenient place for groups with diverse tastes or travelers eager to sample local flavors alongside familiar options.

Mornings are especially appealing here for those who want a solid breakfast served with care — dishes like the Breakfast Board or Eggs & Hollandaise pair well with one of their fresh juices or the popular Hot Coffee Latte. The open layout captures the gentle morning light filtering through greenery, offering a calm moment before the day’s bustle.

Service at Nook tends to be friendly and attentive despite the restaurant’s size and steady crowd. Staff members like Agus, who locals and visitors have noted, help maintain a welcoming flow even on busy weekends. Families seem comfortable here, as the menu includes kid-friendly meals and options that appeal across age groups.

Lunches invite lingering in the shaded garden seating with views stretching over rice fields, setting a tone that feels both tropical and grounded in Bali’s agricultural backdrop. Plates like the Pork Ribs with mash provide comforting, hearty eats that match this peaceful scenery, while lighter fare and smoothies—such as the Ketut Smoothie Bowl or Avocado Smoothie—keep things fresh and balanced.

Overall, Nook works well for those looking to combine a balanced food experience with a calm environment just outside the more hectic parts of Kuta Utara. It caters nicely to locals wanting a relaxed weekend meal, travelers eager to taste both Western and Indonesian styles, and anyone who appreciates a spacious garden setting that lets the island’s natural charm peek in at the table.

We had a lovely lunch at Nook! Everyone was really happy with their food - all great quality. The pork ribs - while perhaps slightly on the tough side - were delicious, especially with the excellent mash potato. All the drinks were great (loved the Matcha Yuzu Soda), and kids meals were good too! It’s a very large and busy place, but the service was pretty good (Agus is a great waiter), and a lovely surprise that the coffees were so good too! Up there with the best coffee shops. Some more fans in the non-smoking area would be nice (it was uncomfortably hot) and certainly would be appreciated. A suggestion - please consider offering your customers complimentary water. It costs your business almost nothing - and it sets the tone for the rest of the experience. It’s the decent classy thing to do. Similarly, charging an extra 15k for mashed potato (instead of chips) with my ribs is just unnecessarily small-minded - it’s really good business to rather be gracious, and in the long run it always pays off. Ps enjoyed the shop - well curated, a lovely range of stuff for sale!

I came here to the Nook Western Restaurant without much expectations, but I must admit that this place here is really a Delightful Escape here in Kerobokan. The Restaurant blends Western and Indonesian flavors in a breezy, half-open garden setting that feels both relaxed and refined. The food is consistently satisfying—whether you're craving a juicy burger or a fragrant local dish—and the service is warm and attentive without being overbearing. Surrounded by lush greenery, it’s the kind of place that invites you to linger. For anyone seeking great food, friendly vibes, and a touch of tropical charm, Nook is a spot I truly enjoy and highly recommend.

A Hidden Gem with Stunning Views and Great Value! We recently visited Nook, and it truly lived up to its reputation. The restaurant is situated on a large property right at the edge of a stunning rice field, offering that iconic, peaceful Bali vibe that everyone looks for. The menu is incredibly diverse, catering to all tastes with impressive vegetarian and meat options. We were particularly intrigued by their specialty burgers—trying the black bun burger for the first time was a highlight! The presentation was top-notch and the quality of the ingredients was evident. Commonly praised by many visitors—and we totally agree—is the relaxing atmosphere and the seamless service. Whether you prefer the smoking or non-smoking section, the layout feels breezy and comfortable. Also, having a dedicated parking area right in front is a huge plus in this area. We paid approximately 300,000 IDR for two burger sets and a Bintang, which is excellent value for money considering the premium location and high-quality service. It’s the perfect spot for a casual yet high-quality meal with a view. Highly recommended!

We had lunch at Nook Bali. The food was quite tasty with satisfying flavors. The service was very friendly, helpful, and informative. Nook Bali offers a wide variety of menu options, ranging from appetizers and main courses to light pastries. The prices are still considered reasonable and standard for a tourist destination.

Padi field view whilst enjoying your food; feels like you are enjoying your meal in the middle of a padi field, yet you are in the middle of the city. Very creative idea from the owner. Mix western and local dishes with tasty desserts. Their spicy cheese burger, very thick and juicy beef burger with melted cheese topped with crispy veggies and with black bun. Very filling when you are hungry. The velvet cheese cake is just perfect and moist, not too sweet (as I don't like too sweet desert). Just enjoy a long lunch or dinner with friends and enjoy the food and the wonderful atmosphere.

*Update* My apology on the staff name as my conversation with her I remember she said her name is Rita. I believe it is Ritzy as per her nametag. Hope you can convey my gratitude to her ———————————————————————————— Had a lovely lunch at Nook and thoroughly enjoyed the Crispy Duck à la Nook — perfectly crispy on the outside, tender and flavourful inside. The dish was beautifully prepared and very satisfying. Service was excellent as well. Rita was attentive, friendly, and made the experience even more pleasant with her warm hospitality. A great lunch overall, and I’ll definitely be back!
